The Wind Beneath My Right Wing
There comes a time in everyone’s life when they have to shape their own ideas and morals. That’s where Young America’s Foundation comes in. Young America’s Foundation was started in 1969 by students at Vanderbilt University. They started University Information Services in order to inspire and teach young people the ideas of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values. The name changed in 1971 and the organization became national, putting the Foundation on the map by pushing Conservative speakers to address colleges around the nation.
Exposing the American youth to these things isn’t an easy thing, though. Through conferences, internships, seminars, and spreading educational material among young people is the most effective way for Young America’s Foundation to reach their demographic. Taking the road paved by Ronald Reagan, this group has been dedicated to young people since they saved President Reagan’s Western White House, ensuring that his ideals and wishes for generations to come will be carried on over the years. First Data is proud to support Young America’s Foundation as they continue to spread their message across the country. You can learn more about them, and even attend one of their conferences at:
